In October of 2013 the Saint Anthony Knights of Columbus Council #13118 in partnership with the Saint Anthony Homeless Ministry began a monthly food drive to benefit the Saint Vincent de Paul Food Bank.
The first Sunday of every month was designated as “Food Drive Sunday”. On that day of every month parishioners are encouraged to bring in donations and deposit them in the designated “Food Drive Box” that has been placed in the vestibule.
The items that are most needed and recommended as donations are as follows:
|Cereals||Canned Soup||Toilet Paper|
|Pasta||Canned Vegetables||Canned Fruit|
We would like to thank all parishioners and friends of Saint Anthony that have donated or have otherwise helped in our food drive efforts. We would also like to thank our Church for providing the space and allowing us to institute this program for this very worthy charitable cause, without the church’s blessing this would not have been possible. This has been a successful charitable effort for our team and collaborators. We hope that you will continue to support our Food Drive efforts moving forward.
